Laboratory Environments

In research and higher education labs, scientists and students perform their work for extended periods of time in focused, concentrated postures dictated by their equipment and the sensitive chemicals they handle. Cramer seating positions workers close to the task at hand while keeping their health and comfort top of mind.

Contaminant Control

Our patented seamless Rhino™Plus upholstery system is anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. We also offer textiles and vinyl with soil and stain-resistant finishes.

Cramer cleanroom chairs are designed for minimal particulate contribution as certified by tests conducted in accordance with ASTM F25-68 and SAE ARP 734A. Sealed pneumatic cylinders, upholstered vinyl cover and seamless covers prevent outgassing above .5 microns. Cleanroom seating is manufactured to meet ISO 14664, Class1 (ISO 3), Class 10 (ISO 4) and Class100 (ISO 5).

Cramer ESD chairs are designed to meet the ESD Association standard test method ESD Seating (STM 12.1-1997). Each chair is assembled with ESD approved parts including chrome cylinder, polished aluminum base, conductive plastic arms and foot rings and steel parts coated with conductive tints. Dual-density conductive casters eliminate the need for cumbersome drag chains. Each chair is tested individually for compliance before leaving the factory.
